Kristy Curletto is a parent to three UO students. Two of them are alumni having graduated in 2015 and 2020. Her third student, Macy, is an Art major in her third year with minors in Art History and Italian Language. Kristy and her husband, Vinny, reside in the Portland, Oregon area. During the past thirteen years as a Duck parent Kristy has had the extraordinary opportunity to be a part of her students’ many activities here at the UO such as UO Men’s soccer, UO Symphonic Band, American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life of the UO council, Tri-Delta Sorority, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, many intramural sports and a trip to Italy through UO’s study abroad program. When they are not down in Eugene Kristy and her husband are enjoying their empty nesting life kayaking, visiting wine country, playing bocce, attending Timbers & Thorns games and hiking the Columbia River Gorge. She would love the opportunity to talk to you about Duck life whether it’s navigating dorm move-in day, how to find helpful resources, supporting your student during difficult times, connecting with other families here in Portland or tackling the emotions of empty nesting. She’s just a click or phone call away. Go Ducks! curletto@comcast.net
